AJJE Games is literary improv that not only provides its players with the opportunity to share their writing talents with others, but also the chance to be surprised, touched, and challenged by the twists and turns of communal storytelling. You never know, from day to day, what adventure awaits your character, or what responses your character's words and actions will engender.
But AJJE is much more than just an role-playing site; it's an international community, where people can share their love of a specific genre both inside and outside of gameplay. It brings together people from all demographics and geographical locations, to enjoy each other's company, laugh, and have fun. I've been here 3 years now and I love this place!

AJJE Games is addicting. I kid you not. I have been a member since early 2007 and the only times I've taken a 'vacation' from the site was when it was forced. Meaning I was sick and/or couldn't get onto a computer with access. This site was literally my high school career (I was a lowly 9th grader when I joined), and it is quickly turning into my college one as well. And it's not just because the RPing is fun, because it is. It's because these people have become close friends that I confide in when I don't have anyone else to go to. They've become an extentsion of my family.
Other RPG websites focus on the game, getting to the next level, doing missions. But we're not like that. We're a community that represents a wide range of science fiction and fantasy fans who mainly only have their love of the genre in common. And it's truly amazing to see such diverse people discuss real life issues and topics, teaching each other about their cultures. An intensity can be felt in every discussion that you just can't get elsewhere, and that just proves that despite the distance between us all we're a collective of fans who will stop at nothing to connect. That we're here for each other and not just for the game. I don't know about you, but rubbing virtual shoulders with these people has definitely made being a sci fi/fantasy fan worth while.

Well, where to begin? I love AJJE, as I get the chance to do something that I love with people from anywhere around the globe! Some of them I'm now friends with through other sites, where we talk about our fandoms and our opinions on them and whatnot. What's also great is that, if you get the wrong end of the stick of something (as I often do, being one of the youngies!), then there are other people who can help you with that. The best thing about it: Learning new things and making new friends you'll never want to forget!

AJJE games provide an innovative and fun gaming environment to explore characterisation and roleplaying in a text-based context. Players and referees are friendly and welcoming as well as monitoring the game to ensure that storylines and interaction flow comfortably and that the adventure is carried forward at an exciting pace. The team of refs seems highly adept at judging when to step back and let character interaction take over but step in when storyline needs to be pushed forward. This means that a careful balance of storyline promotion is maintained without plot being too intrusive. Players have developed interesting, mysterious and well thought out characters that are a joy and a fascination to interact with. The AJJE games are fun, inclusive, interesting and strangely addictive. I would strongly recommend anyone to get creative, test out those literary skills and leap into a fantasy world full of wonderful characters and compelling storylines.

AJJE is a good site because of the variety of role-plays available and the different people that you can meet when you get involved.

I've been with AJJE since 2005. The reason I've continued to RP on this site is that you're only limited by your imagination. If you take a few minutes to tour the site, I have no doubt you'll find something to strike your fancy.

If you're looking for a site that does all kinds of RP's, ranging from Star Trek to Stargate and Star Wars to Doctor Who. Then AJJE Games is the best place to Join up. The Fellow Users are helpful and great RPers, with very interesting imaginations. I highly Recommend AJJE games, as the best text based group that I have ever joined.

AJJE is a great site because of the diversity, not only in the members but in the types of games offered. In one day, I can play with people around the world in a hundred different universes. The possibilities are limited only by the imagination of the players.

The site is beautiful. I love the banners - a character representation of us. Kind of funny seeing what kind of characters that we are and what we can be. It’s a great place to meet new people.
- Tinny from LOTW
I really enjoy how you get to let go and be a whole different person. If only for ten minutes. And after a while the players and characters start to feel like family.
- Kristen from LOTW
The other users on the site are very friendly (and quite creative - the sims are usually fun), and the quality of staying mostly canon to the whole star trek story is awesome.
- Thomas from SFHQ
The AJJE community is second to none thanks to the many great people who are always ready to help and to have a laugh. There is no place better for role-playing.
- Ed from LOTW
Real life piled up and I had to quit all my online gaming sites, except this one. I couldn't let this one go!
